How Merch Became a Key Element of Lifestyle Identity and Employer Branding

Aras™ Digital Products is a company specializing in software development, data engineering, and AI-driven innovation. They offer a wide range of services and collaboration models to turn great ideas into top-tier digital products. 

They help their clients—from startups to global brands—solve complex business challenges and are always looking for smarter, faster, and better ways to improve business. Their mission: #makeitbetter.

Although their main strength lies in their technological and innovative approach, they have recognized the value of culture and authentic identity within the organization. Through their merchandise, they decided to show that they are not "just another tech company," but a community with character, style, and vision.

Challenges and Goals

When we started our collaboration, we had clear ambitions for Aras Digital Products:

  • Employer branding – to create a sense of belonging and pride among employees
  • Differentiation from a "corporate" look – striving for an authentic, fashionable, and "lifestyle" style
  • Flexibility and agility in communication and execution
  • Coverage of a wide range of items so that the merchandise is present in various contexts: in the office, at events, and beyond.

As they themselves formulated it:

"Our main goal was employer branding and standing out from 'corporate' elements, building a lifestyle identity with merchandise."

Process and Implementation

1. Defining the collection and assortment

Together, we selected items that offer versatility in wear and style while still staying true to the brand. These include:

  • Hoodies and sweatshirts
  • T-shirts
  • Hats
  • Beanies
  • Tote bags
  • Stickers and patches

This selection has made the merch present in everyday situations, but also usable as a "statement" piece when needed.

2. A Balanced Design

The goal was to achieve a design that communicates the brand (logo, graphics) without overwhelming it with an overly promotional look. This makes the merchandise something people want to wear, not just a "headquarters promo item."

3. Communication, Agility, and Delivery

Throughout the entire process, we maintained fast and concrete communication with the client's team. We always left room for last-minute adjustments, respected agreed-upon deadlines, and responded flexibly—all with the goal of ensuring the client didn't have to worry about logistics and uncertainty.

Results and Feedback

  • The client received premium merchandise that consistently aligns with their brand identity.
  • The products became a symbol of belonging—people use them in the office, at team activities, and even outside of work.
