If you start every morning with a cup of coffee, you'll probably agree that this ritual isn't just a habit and a caffeine addiction, but a moment to savor peace and prepare for whatever the day brings. How important and precious coffee drinking is to some is also shown by the fact that our neighbors, the Italians, are trying to have this ritual included on UNESCO's list of cultural heritage. We also cultivate a similar culture, so an invitation for coffee usually means hours of enjoying the beverage with pleasant conversation.

Likewise, if you drink coffee every day, there's a good chance you prepare it the same way every time. With or without milk and sugar, short or tall, with foam or just plain black—everyone has their own perfect, tried-and-true recipe, especially when rushing to get ready for work or during a short break.
Since we often drink more than one coffee a day, we decided to try some new and different flavors that we can achieve with a few additions we almost always have on hand. So, let's start with some of our favorite suggestions.
DALGONA COFFEE
This list wouldn't be complete without the instant coffee recipe that reached its peak popularity two years ago, thanks to its creamy taste and simple preparation using just three ingredients.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons of coffee
2 teaspoons of sugar
2 tablespoons hot water
1 cup of milk
Preparation:
Whisk the coffee, sugar, and hot water for 3-5 minutes until it forms a crema. Pour the milk into a glass, add a couple of ice cubes, and top with the coffee crema.

CITRUS AMERICANO
This preparation method will especially appeal to lovers of black coffee without a single drop of milk. On days when you need something to sweeten you up, we suggest adding citrus, which you certainly won't go wrong with.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 cup hot water
¼ cup brown sugar
½ orange
Preparation:
Slice the orange half into thin slices, place them separated on a baking sheet, sprinkle with brown sugar, then dry in the oven at a low temperature. Brew black coffee, add the orange slices, and voilà!
WINTER COFFEE
Some days, you just need to snuggle under a warm blanket and stay in bed, even if the alarm has already gone off for the third time. When that's not possible, we suggest this rich-tasting coffee with a couple of true winter additions.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons instant coffee
half a teaspoon of cinnamon
1 cup of hot milk
1 teaspoon honey
Preparation:
Add the cinnamon to the instant coffee, pour in the hot milk and stir, then sweeten with honey.
BANOFFEE COFFEE
The combination of coffee, banana, caramel, and cookies will delight all sweet tooth lovers and serve as both dessert and coffee in one!
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons instant coffee
2 teaspoons caramel syrup
½ banana
1 digestive cookie
half a cup of milk
ice cubes
Preparation:
Add the instant coffee, cookie, banana, caramel syrup, ice, and milk to a blender. Blend, pour into a glass, and then sprinkle with cookie crumbs and caramel syrup as desired.
ESPRESSO MARTINI
Okay, this one is definitely for after work or a weekend afternoon coffee, but we couldn't leave it out. It's simpler than it sounds, and the effort will definitely be worth it.
Ingredients:
100 g powdered sugar
100 ml vodka
50 ml coffee liqueur
50 ml espresso
ice cubes
Preparation:
Start by making the syrup by heating the powdered sugar in a small saucepan and adding 50 ml of water. Stir until it comes to a boil, then turn off the heat and let it cool. Pour one tablespoon of the cooled syrup into a cocktail shaker, then add the ice, vodka, espresso, and chocolate liqueur. Pour the cocktail into a chilled martini glass and enjoy!
